I have found depression is not something you can easy get over it does take time and help from the right people. But if you work hard enough to overcome it, it will happen. I'm not saying it will be a piece of cake, there will be a lot and I mean a lot of very hard days. But you do learn how to cope with them.
I've learnt to take a step back and deal with things one at a time, that's just the way I've coped with my depression.
I took time out to remember the good times I had with my friend who die of breast cancer, she had told me once that she had a wonderful full life. And had no regrets. It doesn't mean that I don't miss her everyday, it just means I'm dealing with the fact she isn't here anymore.
My dear sister is having her weekly treatment and is having good and bad days, she has a wonderful husband who is supporting her all the way. And make sure I see her as much as I can, or text/phone her as well. And that makes both of us very happy.
I could give you a list of every health problem I have, but I will spare you the details. What I will say it that I'm taking each day as it comes Good, bad and the really awful days that we all have sometimes.
I took a step back from Blogging, Facebook, Twitter and friends and just focussed on me for a while, and that was something I had to do for me. I'm back on everything and feeling very happy. Its good to be back.:-)
Depression is not a bad word, to me it needs I need a bit of help getting through life at the moment and that's ok. For those of you suffering from depression not be afraid to get help, you cannot go through this alone believe me I know. Let me leave you with this quote........
Take care everyone, until next time.;-)xo
